Uses King Cole Big Value 50g DK yarn - other similar thickness yarn may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Uses 4mm and 3.25mm needles. You can of course use the 100g Big Value shades but please remember to adust the amounts required.
Wide Striped Scarf requires 3 x 50g balls of main shade for 4-6yrs and 7-9yrs sizes and 4 balls of main shade for 10-12yrs size plus one ball in each of two shades for all sizes
Narrow Striped Scarf requires 3 x 50g balls in each of three shades for all sizes
Stripped Helmet requires 1 x 50g ball in each of three shades
2 Colour Helmet requires 1 x 50g ball in each of two shades for all sizes
2 Colour Mittens require 1 x 50g ball in each of two shades for all sizes
Striped Mittens require 1 x 50g ball in each of three shades for all sizes
