Uses King Cole Tinsel Chunky and DK wool - other similar thickness yarns may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Uses 3mm and 5mm needles. This is a great way to use up all your oddments if you've made the other tinsel toys.

Each Hedgehog takes the equivalent of 4 x 50g balls of Tinsel Chunky plus 1 x 25g ball of DK. You don't need to have all the colours if you don't want to - just enough to complete 72 rows for the body - 12 shades used in photo but you could have a 4 shade sequence instead.

Each Owl takes the equivalent of 6 x 50g ball of Tinsel Chunky plus 1 x 25g ball of DK. You don't need to have all the colours if you don't want to - just enough to complete 118 rows for the body - 12 shades used in photo but you could have a 4 shade sequence instead.
