Uses King Cole's Cottonsoft Crush DK yarn which is self striping so no need to change colours - other similar thickness yarns may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Uses 3.25mm, 3.75mm and 4mm needles. You can also use the solid shades if you prefer.

Either Cardigan requires 4 x 100g balls of main shade for 32" size, 5 balls of main shade for 34" and 36" sizes, 6 balls of main shade for 38" and 40" sizes and 7 balls of main shade for 42" size, plus 1 ball of contrast shade for 32", 34" and 36" sizes and 2 balls for 38", 40" and 42" sizes.
