Uses King Cole Poplar Chunky yarn - which makes its own pattern as you knit - other similar thickness yarns may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Uses 6mm and 5mm needles.

Jacket requires 6 x 100g balls for 30"-32" and 34"-36" sizes, 7 balls for 38"- 40" size, 8 balls for 42"-44" size and 9 balls for 46"-48" size.
Cardigan requires 4 x 100g balls for 30"-32" and 34"-36" sizes, 5 balls for 38"-40", and 6 balls for 42"-44" and 46"-48" sizes.
