Uses King Cole Fjord Double Knitting yarn - other similar thickness yarns may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Uses 3.25mm and 4mm needles. The pattern advises to uses circular needles for the poncho - not to knit in the round just because of the number of stitches on the needle.

Poncho requires 7 x 100 balls for Small and Medium sizes and 8 balls for Large size.
Shawl requires 4 x 100 balls.
Cowl requires 2 100g balls.
