Uses King Cole Opium Aran yarn - which knits up like lace on plain stocking stitch - other similar thickness yarn may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Also requires King Cole Cottonsoft yarn for borders and bands. Uses 3.75mm and 4mm needles. Multi-colour shades also available.

Cape requires 6 x 100g balls of Opium and 2 x 100g balls of Cottonsoft for 32"-34" size, 7 balls of Opium and 3 balls of Cottonsoft for 36"- 38" size and 8 balls of Opium and 3 balls of Cottonsoft for 40"- 42" size.

Snood requires 2 x 100g balls.

Poncho requires 3 x 100g balls of Main shade 2 balls of 1st contrast and 1 ball of 2nd contrast for 32"-34" size, 4 balls of Main shade 3 balls of 1st contrast and 1 ball of 2nd contrast for 36"- 38" size and 5 balls of Main shade 4 balls of 1st contrast and 2 balls of 2nd contrast for 40"- 42" size.
