Uses King Cole Chunky Tweed yarn - which has little flecks of contrast colour to give a tweed pattern as you knit - other similar thickness yarns may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Uses 6mm and 5.5mm needles.

Jacket requires 8 x 100g balls for 32" size, 9 balls for 34" size, 10 balls for 36"-38" size, 11 balls for 40" size and 12 balls for 42"-44" size.
Gilet requires 5 x 100g balls for 32" size, 6 balls for 34" size, 7 balls for 36"-38" and 40" sizes and 8 balls for 42"-44" size.
