Uses King Cole DK or 4ply yarn - other similar thickness yarns may be used but user must check tension to ensure correct size is produced. Uses 3.75mm and 4mm needles for DK versions, 3mm and 3.25mm for 4ply versions.

DK Coat and Bonnet together require 1 x 100g balls for 12" size, 2 balls for 14" and 16" sizes and 3 balls for 18" size.
